About the team
Group Finance and Investment (GFI) is a trusted advisor to the Transport cluster, and partners with our stakeholders to make all financial and funding considerations for our once-in-a-generation $71.5 billion infrastructure program.
We provide best in class financial services to support decision-making on transport services, infrastructure investment and delivery. GFI plays a critical role in project planning and funding, enterprise planning and financial management and control.
The Capital Portfolio Management branch provides the Secretary and NSW Government stakeholders with support for capital investment decision making and governance at a portfolio level.
The Capital Insights and Reporting team is responsible for a reset of portfolio level reporting, employing systematic data flows across a variety of project data sources to perform analysis of portfolio metrics that generates insightful reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
The opportunity
Right now, we have a new Senior Manager Capital Portfolio Internal Insights and Reporting opportunity responsible for the generation of insightful internal reporting and portfolio level analytics for the Transport Cluster capital portfolio, in particular the Finance and Investment Assurance Committee (FIAC) to ensure appropriate measures can be implemented in a timely manner to achieve optimal portfolio customer outcomes.
In your new role, you will advise the Director, Insights and Reporting, CFO, FIAC and Secretary on all matters related to internal reporting for the Transport Cluster capital portfolio.
You will proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies provided by the business to ensure information is reporting consistently and reliably to support Transport Executive decisions
