About the team

The Senior Manager Asset Management Framework team operates as part of the Asset Planning and Assurance Team.  It is the principal role of this team to understand and maintain the TfNSW Asset Management Framework and associated documents in order to align with NSW Treasury Asset Management Policy. Keeping the framework, and its application contemporary, ensures that TfNSW is able to effectively manage the asset condition delivery across the cluster.  This framework must work in harmony with other key documents and cluster polices which requires effective stakeholder identification and engagement critical to the outcomes.

The opportunity

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Sr Manager Asset Management Framework. Reporting to the Director Asset Planning and Assurance, you will lead and manage a team responsible for the governance structure, the ongoing development, compliance, continuous improvement, and sustainment of the Transport for NSW Asset Management Framework.

About you

Demonstrated experience having worked with frameworks and asset management systems aligning with ISO 55000

Ability to analyse function effectiveness

Experience in Asset Management and Project Management

Strategic thinker with proven leadership capability

Able to act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and build effective relationships

Capacity to successfully juggle multiple deliverables and complex issues, in a busy and evolving delivery environment

You will understand the challenges and opportunities of working within a matrix-based organisation, and of collaborating with multiple deployed teams

You will be an inclusive and persuasive communicator

Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
