Technology Enablement ensures IT for Transport can confidently deliver essential services to the people of NSW. We:

The opportunity
Right now, we have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Senior Manager Analytics and Insights to join us in Technology Enablement team.
In this newly created area of the business, you will lead the data insights and analytics team in development and implementation of innovative solutions to present data, information, reports and insights to key stakeholders and various levels throughout the Transport Cluster.
This role will decide on what tools we use, what data sets are available and shape up our service offerings through data insights to help IT run as a business.
What you will be involved in:
Scope out the reporting gaps and requirements
Develop methods for the visualisation of key analytics and insights
Provide thought leadership for innovation in executive reporting methods, ensuring information and insights are consumable and support informed decision making
Coach and lead a team member to agreed outcomes for the team

About you
We are looking for an experienced manager of a small team who is comfortable working with ambiguity with strong experience in data visualisation and insights.
Together with your appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience, you will be outcomes driven, able to experiment, scope out and shape up the service offerings of the team as you go.
You are strong in MS Excel and BI tools with the ability to turn data into stories as you source data sets and extract that data into meaningful visualised insights.
In addition to this, you will be comfortable telling stories, presenting and communicating with stakeholders in a manner they will understand and relate to.
