We invite researchers with expertise in machine learning, deep learning in particular, to join the Health Intelligence team at the Microsoft Research Cambridge (UK) lab. The Health Intelligence team aims to transform medicine via trusted and reliable AI, while preserving the essence of high quality care which is the human element.
We are a multi-disciplinary team that includes engineers, machine learning experts, statisticians, medical practitioners, user experience researchers, and biologists working on problems in the areas of Hospital Care, Mental Health, Medical Imaging and Immunomics. To have an impact in these areas requires diversity and an open attitude to learn new skills and mental models. We want you to be part of a vibrant environment in which diverse skills and knowledge is valued when addressing some of the hardest and most impactful problems of our time. For example, we are using machine learning to decode the human immune system to facilitate the diagnosis of different diseases, developing tools for next generation medical imaging, or helping clinicians to cope with the growing demand on healthcare.
As a Machine Learning Researcher, you will be part of a team that develops solutions to problems that span multiple healthcare and life science research domains. This is an excellent opportunity to work on audacious research problems with the potential for real-world impact.
