Digital Experience Insight helps us to better understand where our users come from and what they do when they’re on the site. We want to know how they find us, the devices they use, how they interact with the site, and how successful we are at converting them into customers. So, when you spot any awesome new changes to the site, it’s because our team have used customer data to drive changes, and to improve the whole experience.
The Digital Experience Insight team are responsible for understanding onsite customer behaviour across all ASOS digital touchpoints. We capture and analyse huge volumes of data and turn them into actionable insights to inform the customer experience strategy of our business. We are passionate about our customers and love to play with data and technology.
As a leading online retailer, ASOS is focused on delivering the best possible experience for our customers. Understanding how our customers interact with our online properties is a crucial part of this process. The role is key to driving improvements and continual innovation in the development of the ASOS experience across territories and devices.
We use Adobe Analytics, working closely with the implementation team to choose what data we should collect and how; a good understanding of how web analytics works is important.
