We have a rare and exciting opportunity available to join our HR team as a Senior HR Advisor on a permanent basis. The role is to support BBC Studios in the delivery of central HR operations; ensuring consistency, accuracy and transparency in processes, systems and data. You will work closely within a collaborative team of 6 but will maintain regular contact with other members of the BBC Studios HR team both in the UK and internationally, Business Partners, the HR Service Centre and payroll.
The Senior HR Advisor will provide central support for people lifecycle processes and policies for employees and managers within BBC Studios, and will support members of the HR team with day-to-day requests, such as resolving or escalating issues, providing ad hoc reports and supporting with projects or employee relations processes.
You will provide support on key HR Operations processes for International offices based in EMEA, including monthly payroll (e.g. liaising with local payroll providers, checking payroll reports and instructing payment to deadlines) and any country-specific annual processes. You will also support the HR leads for those offices in supporting our international managers and employees, and continuously improving our international HR service provision.
You will communicate and liaise with other areas of the business and third parties regularly; implementing processes, maintaining data and HR systems and supporting the HR Business Partners and Heads of HR as necessary.
You will ensure the consistency and accuracy of BBC Studios data held in all HR related systems such as SAP HR, myDevelopment and the People Intranet; ensuring all employee data, headcount data, system hierarchies and manager relationships are up-to-date at all times. You will secure all central HR Operations procedures relating to employees comply with GDPR both in the UK and international markets in consultation with BBCS’s Data Protection Manager.

The successful candidate will be positive and proactive with excellent organisational and communication skills. We are looking for an someone who's independent with a strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and prioritise effectively.
You will have proven experience of working in Human Resources operations and good knowledge of Microsoft Office systems. Payroll experience would be a strong advantage.
You will be an enthusiastic team player who is able to work in a collaborative manner even in a pressurised environment, making connections across teams.
