Your new company

Our client is a large government agency based across the country. They have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their national HR Advisory team.

Your new role

You'll be supporting Managers and Leaders to drive people based solutions, working as key point of contact for escalation whilst prioritising workload to ensure that the highest level of advisory support is provided. Key responsibilities include:

• Proactively work with stakeholders to manage and resolve complex HR issues
• Support and take a lead organisational initiatives and projects
• Daily allocation of work and supporting to prioritise workload
• Providing advice and mentoring to HR Advisors
• Assisting the drive of a high performing team

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be an experienced Senior HR Advisor with a thorough working knowledge of NZ employment legislation. With a partnering approach, you'll thrive in a busy and varied role where you are leading on complex HR matters and supporting Managers across the full HR remit.

You'll have exceptional stakeholder management skills and will be comfortable flexing to support differing business needs and prioritising conflicting workloads.
