We have a fixed term opportunity for an experienced Senior Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to support a large construction project on-site whilst partnering with the Wellington-based Health Safety & Wellbeing Lead in other construction projects.

You will play a crucial role in the oversite of HSE requirements of a large Auckland-based project by working proactively in all HSE needs on our site while building relationships with the Site Team, Contractors and Project Managers. 

A pragmatic approach to extensive health and safety site management will allow you to establish and maintain all safety requirements, toolbox talks, while conducting site audits and overseeing investigations as necessary.

About you

You need:

• A great track record working in Construction Health and Safety including knowledge of NZ legislation in HSE
• Experience leading investigations and response to incidents
• Strong relationship and communication skills, with a coaching emphasis
• Highly motivated with a practical approach
• Drivers Licence (current, full & clean)
