We seek a person with approximately five years practical experience of working in an enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) environment.

In terms of geospatial technology, you will need to have advanced technical skills in at least one of the following programs:

• ESRI ArcGIS Desktop;
• ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise;
• Trimble SketchUp;
• Safe FME; and
• Skyline TerraExplorer.

Combined with these technical skills, you will have experience developing custom solutions in a geospatial environment using Python or JavaScript, experience creating and managing GIS web applications and services and an excellent knowledge base of geospatial principles, formats and products.

Being able to manage and balance multiple demands while liaising with customers about requirements, priorities, and resource allocation are important parts of this role.

You are able to document and express technical terms in a clear and concise way, particularly for non-technical users. You are also comfortable delivering formal presentations and lessons to groups.
