Full Stack Software Developer - Contract / ASAP start

We are looking for a Full Stack software developer to come on board and join this well known Kiwi business. Providing New Zealander's with industry leading services via insurance and support, this business is going through a major digital modernisation right now and as a consequence are now looking for a highly skilled contractor to help with the additional workload. They are searching for a contractor who is a passionate developer, self-motivated and excels in a dynamic team environment. Is capable of adapting when needed by learning new skills and problem solving

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain the Company’s core applications to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure the client interfaces are able to be accommodated and assist with the implementation and provide excellent written and verbal communication.
• Fully document all software development in accordance with best practice.
• The team owns/supports what they build, experience in end to end ownership and supporting after the fact.
• Conduct post implementation reviews to ensure benefits are achieved by all parties involved.
• Review the Company’s software development strategy and when appropriate make recommendations for change.

Experience:

• In depth understanding of cloud platforms.
• Experienced with Azure cloud native and serverless development experience preferred.
• Event driven microservices architecture experience.
• C# and .NET core v6 backend.
• Angular front end and the knowledge to transition to React
• Mature DevOps and CICD experience.

• Competitive daily/hourly rates available - 6 month contract - weekly pay

• Offices based in central Auckland with hybrid working options
• Start date ASAP
