Our group takes a solution-centric approach, providing our partners with Microsoft Azure engineers, tools, and best practices to ensure their solutions are cutting edge, feature rich and ahead of their competition.
Our team is looking for you, a Senior Program Manager, to support our India Startup business that brings great teamwork, organization & structure, curiosity, high-energy leadership, and engineering execution to our Startup-focused team. You will be instrumental in ensuring we drive the right strategy in region, ultimately delivering increased momentum and success in the India Startup market. You will use your knowledge of the Startup ecosystem, solution development and emerging technology trends to ensure these Startups are successful in their solution delivery and are on track to scale fast.
Responsibilities
Your areas of responsibility include:
Working with key stakeholders to collaboratively build ‘The Plan’, using your analytical skills to ensure the most impactful Startups receive the right enablement on their journey
Work closely with FTA engineers in addressing solution needs and driving success with their Azure solution deployments
Identify opportunities where we can do better for these Startups, incrementally driving improvement across our program and delivery, ultimately delivering increased impact
Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across engineering, sales, services and partner teams, leading and executing a business rhythm that ensures pattern of challenge, opportunity and potential course correction are highlighted
Coach team members and mentor others in planning, organizing, and coordinating work
Evangelize and teach others to reach beyond existing solutions and technologies to incorporate new ideas
Be the voice of Startups within FTA WW, ensuring we create and maintain regular communication rhythms like contributions to newsletters, success stories & flipbooks
Attend and contribute to subsidiary review meetings & provide feedback to improving engineering contributions and product feedback with Azure BG/PG stakeholders. Track and maintain program hygiene to ensuring all metrics are tracked and reported meticulously
Qualifications
Successful Candidate Competencies:
Real day-to-day Startup-facing experience and empathy, ideally having worked directly for one or more Startups, or in a role that provides enablement to this partner type
Experience leading and running a service delivery program, formulating rhythm of business, driving operational improvement, delivering broad & targeted communications, and defining measures of success
Exceptional ability to communicate ideas effectively with executives and engineering teams
Assembling, leading and working within strong cross-functional groups and matrixed team environments
Demonstrated skills and abilities to consistently create an amazingly positive experience for Startups
Track record of problem-solving ranging from conceptualization to implementation
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams and drive clarity for FTA engineers
Real-world smart, logical and able to learn new areas quickly
Familiarity with the culture influence and needs of our India Startups
Qualifications Recommendations:
5+ years of direct partner facing experience, conversant with senior IT professionals, backed by a deep understanding of their solution needs
Proven ability to lead, manage, build and deliver business results through an engineering or professional services team
Deep technical proficiency in one or more cloud technologies
Microsoft Azure experience preferred
Program Management, Project Management, Business Management or Delivery Management experience preferred
Consulting background a plus
Experience working in the India region, with a depth understanding of the India Startup ecosystem specifically
Located in India
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of direct partner facing experience or management consulting, with depth understanding of India Startup ecosystem
Proficiency in technical concepts including cloud technology and Microsoft Azure
