We are on a hugely exciting journey within data and experimentation to develop a world-class team here at TalkTalk. The Senior Experimentation Specialist role will take a centre of excellence approach to program management, with a focus on managing and coordinating our experimentation program across digital sales products and support our Senior Product Analyst in the analysis of experiments and rollouts (Feature releases).
You’ll work in partnership with the UX team, product owners, developers and product analysts to plan, support the build of, monitor, and communicate experiments across our digital experience to drive product growth. This will require the Senior Experimentation Specialist to be closely aligned with the strategic delivery of new journeys and features whilst living and breathing their specific goals and objectives.
Key responsibilities:
Use experimentation to improve the customer experience and business outcomes of our digital sales products through:
Program Coordination: Run workshops and provide strategic support to Product Owners on experiment candidates and program communication
Experiment Management: Plan, UAT (alongside developers) built experiments and communicate results
Experiment Measurement: Support the Senior Product Analyst with planning and advancing experimentation measurement and interpretation of output analysis
Experiment Opportunities: Drive backlog opportunity through deep dive analysis of UX Analytics, Survey Data and colaboration with UX Research
Onboarding agile teams across all experimentation technology and strategy. Educating, and enabling them to autonomously execute their own experimentation agenda
Support the Experimentation Lead to establish governance and operational excellence guidelines and the overall delivery of the experimentation program across the business
Provide first line support for our agile teams and business units on all things experimentation, from refining hypotheses, analysing test results and designing experiments
Work directly with developers to support the implementation of experiments both server side and client side
What you need to succeed

Strong knowledge of A/B Testing and experimentation practice principles, spanning ideation, hypothesis building, experiment design and measurement, build, launch, analysis, statistical principles and results sharing.
Demonstrable experience of using experimentation platforms, such as Optimizely, Adobe Target, Maxymiser
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work effectively with a wide array of highly technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with high levels of empathy and a coaching mentality.
Some exposure to using digital analytics (Google Analytics/Adobe) and experimentation platforms to segment and measure experiment results to determine outcomes is advantageous but not essential
Prior experience of some, but not all of the following technologies and principals
UX design and research in addition to product engineering principles
Basic understanding of programming languages (SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
Server side/full stack experimentation and the use of Feature Flags
Strong commercial awareness, able to demonstrate the business impact of their work.
Experience of working in an agile product environment and managing workflows in Jira / Azure DevOp’s is
