About Us: 

Our client is looking for a Senior Estimator to oversee our civil construction department. This position works closely with management, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure an accurate and comprehensive bid is submitted. Our organization is a large contracting company operating across North America. This role is specific to our region around Buffalo, NY.

Position:

This role will be for the most senior and experienced estimator in the organization. 

You will be required to complete complicated and high revenue estimates and also be a mentor to junior estimators. 

Duties:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with building and safety regulations
• Manage and direct labor while managing projects
• Build business relationships while working with clients and contractors
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and scope

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of construction estimation experience, or related experience
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, preferably Enterprise Estimating Software.
• Experience in estimating bids greater than $5 million
• Strong purchasing and negotiation skills and experience.

Compensation:

• $90,000 - $120,000++, based on experience, negotiable
