SENIOR eMERCHANDISE &CONTENT MANAGER-

CONSUMER PRODUCTS DIVISION

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce Activation, the Senior eMerchandise & Content Manager is the driving force behind a strong e-merch process which ensures perfect execution of CPD brands across e-retailers. They lead a team of three eMerchandisers who, in collaboration with the Brand and commercial teams, will ensure that there is an end-to-end  content implementation process for CPD brands from our PIM/DAM, onto intermediaries and onto our retailer sites. The Senior eMerch & Content Manager also drives our reporting and data capabilities to improve measurement and accountability in our mission for eMerch excellence. i.e. digital shelf

As an eCommerce content expert, the eMerch & Content Manager is also responsible, in collaboration with brands, to develop and update  category ‘playbooks’ so to ensure we create conversion-first content that resonates with the Online shopper. Additionally, they will be able to create local content working with agencies and internal digital designers so to generate best-in-class eCom content that elevates  our brands online experience.

•Have a passion for creating, building and executing recommendations for consumer first content that builds on the equity of our brands and makes them the most shoppable online!

Strong Process

•Drive a strong end to end emerchandising process whereby marketing and commercial communities

are mobilised behind the objective of delivering emerch excellence and that it is reported and tracked regularly.

Perfect Execution

•In collaboration with Online Brand Managers, directly execute changes on self service platforms (i.e. Amazon)

•Work with retailer teams to relieve emerch pinch points and accelerate our execution/ Optimisation on retail sites.

•Ensure a flawless content enrichment on our PIM platform (Salsify), making sure our brands are fully optimized online

•Ensure regular flow and update of product information between systems (Salsify, Edge and Opera)

Driving Accountability

•Working with business planning team to keep EDGE up to date and accurate. Publication of brand and customer scores on EDGE.

•Use ARA dashboards and Google Algorithm to track Amazon optimisation and provide insight into impact of organic execution.

•Collate and communicate a clear roadmap with identified priorities mapped to growth strategy for CPD online.

‘Play book’ development and update

•Work with Online Brand Managers to build the category execution playbook for CPD.

E-Merch Innovation

•Recommend ways to innovate our emerchandising execution using shopper insights and learnings from

      the wider market and incorporating those into the ‘playbook’. Help us build a new model for content creation.

•Keen eye for detail, accurate and able to manage complex information

•Highly numerate – strong analytically

•A manager of people, able to coordinate work, drive efficiency and develop your team

•Highly organized with prioritization skills.

•Experienced in an ecommerce environment and can demonstrate an affinity for brands and consumers

•Strong Communication skills – written and verbal

•Excellent presentation skills with attention to detail for creating sound commercial arguments

•Strong influencing skills – you will be required to demonstrate thought leadership as well as drive to execution

•Experience in a fast paced sales / retail environment
