We are looking for thoughtful, strategic design manager to help drive a global design team and championing end-to-end and cross device product experiences. We are looking for an intuitive and self driven Design leader who can set up and lead a team of designers and user researcher to deliver great product experience.
The ideal candidate for this position must have demonstrated strength delivering through all stages of product development and driving key partnerships: from initial ideation to shipping and supporting multiple teams and their needs. S/he has mature design craftsmanship and problem-solving skills, who will work collaboratively with UX researchers, product managers and engineers while driving design from concept to final implementation.

- The candidate will be responsible for many facets of designing products across a portfolio of products, including but not limited to communicating, prioritizing, researching, creating, developing, refining, and documenting innovative and compelling user experience solutions that meet business and design objectives.
- This person will also drive the design schedule and design process for both near and long-term products, optimizing them across releases. In addition to strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and creativity will also be critical to driving compelling user experiences.
- The candidate will need to communicate through many tools, from design briefs to status mails, to the various team’s communication channels.
- The Design Manager will work closely with a variety of colleagues, including interaction and visual designers, user researchers, product managers, engineering PMs, software engineers, on contract vendors, in a highly collaborative environment.
- The candidate should feel comfortable facilitating discussions involving stakeholders and presenting to executives.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Overall 12+ years of experience in creating experience for both consumer and enterprise products
- Portfolio showcasing your proficiency in translating research insights into great product experiences, reflecting the synthesis of good visual and interaction design principles.
- Should be a great storyteller. Comfortable presenting compelling design stories and journeys across various types of audiences and stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Communication Arts, Information Design, or equivalent education or experience
- Passion for design and a strong command of interaction and visual design capabilities
- Proven experience in creatively solving hard problems, driving complex design issues across multidisciplinary groups such as engineering, product management, research, and marketing; and shipping relevant experiences within deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for an iterative design process and human cantered design
- Fluent in Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Excellent prototyping skills - the more tools you know the better (Protopie, Figma, XD, nVision, Flinto, Framer, Processing, Unity, writing code).
- Strong interpersonal skills and an attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively and critically about design problems
- Real passion for typography, visual systems and simplicity
- Shown ability to synthesize design solutions from ambiguous concepts
