The BT Security Threat Management Consultancy is a specialist organisation that sits within BT Global, and is responsible, across Enterprise and Global, for provision of high-end cyber consulting expertise within client accounts by creating value, identifying opportunity, influencing design of solutions and differentiating BT Security propositions. Our teams do this through an in-depth technical understanding of the threat management portfolio and the complex cyber threat landscape. 

As a Cyber consultant you’ll also deliver cyber threat monitoring specific consulting packages where these can be leveraged to improve the BT Security reputation within an account or to influence the way a client procures cyber capability to benefit BT. The key purpose of this role is to develop cyber threat management business through a full lifecycle of client engagement whilst providing cyber & threat management subject matter expertise in support of the growth ambitions of BT Security.

You'll have the following responsibilities

Lead on cyber monitoring specific consulting work packages leading the deliverables and client engagement activity.

To be seen as an expert in how BT cyber security threat management portfolio can be translated to support clients ambitions of addressing advanced cyber threats.

Direct engagement with Decision Makers within new/existing BT Customer base alongside a working relationship with colleagues in portfolio and delivery teams

Play a leading role on the development of BT Security as a provider of Cyber capabilities, identifying opportunities and influencing sales strategy to grow BT Security business.

Assists in the development of team knowledge through shadowing, support and guidance and leadership

You'll have the following skills & experience

Able to adopt a lead role on cyber advisory engagements – Delivering technical advisory engagements to clients and translating the results into value.

Expert knowledge of how cyber security threats affect large enterprises and translate that into understandable narratives

Ability to develop opportunities for clients and develop meaningful relationships as a trusted advisor.

Inspiring communicator able to articulate findings to stakeholders and translating complex topics

Deep understanding of threat actors and able to convert this knowledge into client requirements for analysis and operations when not defined.
