Description

Pension and Benefits Administrators should apply for this exciting role with one of our clients. The Senior Coordinator is responsible for the day to day administration of the company pension & benefit plans for all colleagues across Canada. The Senior Pension and Benefits Coordinator will implement enhancements to current programs, and oversee all general tasks associated with benefits administration. This role will be required to manage all aspects of the process beginning with eligibility through to termination/retirement ensuring paperwork is correct, colleagues understand their pension & benefits and the process is smooth. - Lead enrollments and determine employee eligibility

- Receive and respond to plan member inquiries and requests

- Design administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes

- Participate in regular audit, analysis and reconciliation of reports to validate plan contributions, earnings and rates are accurate

- Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with the accounting department

- Help organization to comply with applicable government regulations

- Ensure employees are aware of their benefit options

- Monitor transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration

Requirements

- Bilingual French/English

-Comfortable navigating the world of benefits contract language

- Excellent communication and organization skills

- 2+ years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience

- Hands-on experience with data analysis

- Have prior experience in Microsoft Office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
