At Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga | Ministry of Education, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to ākonga and whānau.

About Te Puna Hanganga, Matihiko | Infrastructure and Digital

Mō tÄ“nei tÅ«ranga | About this role 

The purpose of this role is to administrate the Ministry's building compliance contracts and support the use of those contracts by schools and frontline staff. These contracts include Building Warrant of Fitness inspections for schools, a national fire alarm upgrade programme, building envelope assessments, and lift maintenance and call out contracts.

Mōhou ake | About you 

To be successful in this role you will need to have proven experience in providing support to teams and a good understanding and working knowledge of commercial contracts, invoicing and budget tracking.

You will have:

  • Good relationship skills and the ability to facilitate outcomes through personal credibility and influence. 
  • Enjoys working in a busy work environment and committed to building a positive team environment 
  • Time management/project management skills - attention to detail and an ability to produce quality work in a timely manner.
