We are looking for a Senior Commercial Lines Insurance Broker  to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a client-centered professional, who holds themselves to the highest standards and aligns their success with that of the customer.

 

It's about you, so we offer you:

  • Base pay of $68K to 72,000
  • Commissions - 15% on house leads and 20% on own leads ***change to 25% on new business

Summary:

The Commercial Lines Insurance Broker is responsible for providing support to clients on a day-to-day basis while developing and maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives.

The  Commercial Lines Account Manager reports to the respective department manager.

 

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to existing clients, including offering recommendations and supporting them with their day-to-day insurance needs.
  • Review insurance renewals, research, and source alternate options if necessary and present these renewals and their terms to clients.
  • Increase business through cross and up selling to existing clients, through client referrals.  Also sell to new prospects through client referrals.
  • Administration of Accounts Receivable for assigned clients.
  • Review and prioritize insurance claims. Advise and recommend solutions, liaise with insurance adjuster.
  • Prepare client and carrier documentation such as applications, questionnaires, insurance certificates, new business and remarket submissions, and invoices.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes.
  • Complete required education hours by attending training sessions, webinars, completing reading material provided by management, and attending career seminars.
  • Be the lead in maintaining positive, long-term relationships with the clients, insurance carrier representatives and TSG staff. Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of Experience in commercial lines account management (required)
  • RIBO licensed (required)
  • Experience with Applied TAM (preferred but not essential)
