Responsibilities will include:
To maintain and develop a wide network of contacts within the B&I sector, building relationships in the designated marketplace to ensure the Company is invited to as many tenders as possible
To develop a network of contacts within the identified target marketplace: Manufacturing, Industrial, food and bev and Corporate and professional.
To represent the Company at all OCS Group and UKIME meetings as required and to secure new business and build intercompany networks
To ensure a robust selection process is applied to all opportunities, considering capability, references, margin and competitiveness
To ensure that all tender responses are innovative, accurate, compliant, timely and professionally presented
To prepare and deliver all other aspects of the strategic sales process including awareness campaigns, presentations, exhibitions and general market collateral
To work alongside the sector Business Development Director to develop a strategy, marketing material and collateral to support focussed sales approach
To prepare and undertake a thorough hand-over to operational colleagues once each contract is secured using the Company’s ISO procedures
To assist with the collection, collation and recording of all statistical data for tender compilation, such as productivity ratings, margins and costs through Salesforce
To keep abreast of the current market conditions and competitor activity
To follow up and provide feedback on sales leads and tender opportunities
To be up to date with all new industry innovations for inclusion in tender responses
To maintain a wide network of internal and external colleagues to develop sales opportunities
To lead the maintaining and updating of Salesforce to ensure accurate sales reporting
To mentor and training newer members of the BDM and support teams
Experience required:
Education/Qualifications:
IT literate (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
Salesforce or equivalent CRM software
Working experience/Personal attributes
Extensive sales experience within the soft services, selling to Private Sector bodies within the target sectors identified above
Good understanding of the soft services and Facilities Management market sector
Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce
Ability to ‘listen’ and understand client needs
Ability to generate a ‘solution’ to the Clients expressed needs
Highly numerate and computer literate.
Must have the ability to interpret, manage and present information in an innovative manner
Be commercially aware with total commitment to customer service and development.
Good communication, organisational and analytical skills
Neat and professional presentation
Flexible approach to working hours and location
Ability to work to deadlines and project manage the bid process
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
