My client is a global IT company with their presence in most countries. We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a large client in Wellington.


Responsibilities:

• Plan execute and manage the elicitation and documenting of M&T business functions, business requirements, including gap analysis, options analysis and process mapping, ensuring traceability and alignment with defined policy interpretations, business assumptions and outcomes.
• Ensure all outputs delivered within the agreed timeline and meet the required M& Tquality standards and guidelines
• Establish and maintain effective relationships and collaboration with all stakeholders across the solution delivery, including the M& T business representatives, M& T solution teams and relevant delivery teams.
• Manage the creation of business function separation playbooks and run sheets and support the contribution of components from other areas such as Technical delivery teams.
• Contribute to the identification of risks, planning, teamwork to order to collectively achieve desired solution outcomes
• Provide regular and ad-hoc updates/communications to respective Solution Lead(s) and Lead Business Analyst

Key Skills:

• Knowledge and experience including:
• 10+ years experience working as a Senior Business Analyst within a commercial environment, with preferable experience in the Financial Industry or Markets business domain.
• Working across multiple projects and business teams;
• Requires working knowledge of relevant SDLC methodologies – Waterfall and Agile
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong documentation skills – selects and uses the right tools for the job
• Ability to build a relationship with senior stakeholders within both the business and technology
• Has a broad understanding of operations models, frameworks and practices
• Leverage tools for optimal collaboration & knowledge sharing across geographies
• Encourage best practices around reviews, quality and documentation
• Comfortable responding effectively to changing priorities.  
• Establish and maintains traceability back to agreed requirements at all times.
