Hudson have partnered with a leading financial institution to source for a unique opportuntity as a senior technical business analyst. Your role will focus on data analysis and production of requirements, solutions and recommendations using SQL, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Through your analysis, you'll identify issues and opportunities relating to the delivery of the project's initiatives. Your analytical input will contribute to the success and realisation of project benefits.

• Develop a detailed understanding of the Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk business area, its underlying systems and data.
• Capture business requirements as they impact the Liquidity & TPALM (including QRM) applications for each of the projects
• Document functional requirements to meet those business requirements

• Document functional requirements to meet those business requirements
• Perform impact & gap analysis of current v's target state in relevant applications.
• Work through & document business solutions
• Implement QRM configuration changes
• Specification of inbound & outbound interface changes
• Work with the business & technical teams to enhance quality and value of the data and solutions
• Your tasks will fall into the following areas:
• Eliciting business requirements and delivery of technical specifications to meet those requirements.
• Data and systems analysis - sourcing of new data, analysing the data quality of existing sources and cleansing of data from various product systems
• Solving data integrity issues, maintaining metadata and contributing towards data simplification and consolidation initiatives.
• Analysing the quality of existing controls and technical design of new / improved data controls
• Analysing the quality of existing business rules and technical design of new / improved business rules.

Testing - Preparation and execution of UAT tests, plans and scripts, identification of issues, reporting, running of testing tools and liaison with the business. Raising any defects found during testing and escalating in accordance with set procedures. This role will also involve liaising with IT and the project team to ensure that planned testing meets their requirements.
