The opportunity

 

Reporting to the Business Case Development Lead, the primary purpose of the role is to support the development, drafting and approval of business cases for project in development. Specifically this role requires skills in professional writing, strategic thinking, technical editing, stakeholder engagement and project management.

 

What you will be involved in:  

 

Lead in the implementation and development of business case strategy, working within multidisciplinary project teams to deliver complex business cases for investment approval.

Provide specialist advice in the interpretation and communication of technical and complex information that is fit-for-purpose.

Apply a high standard of written and verbal communication, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop high quality documentation.

Data analysis across land use, demand modelling and economics

Problem identification/optioneering workshops and options assessment

Interpret and provide specialist advice in business case development and the application of required standards and frameworks in consultation with Group Finance.

About you

 

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience and ability in developing and producing high-quality business case documentation, working in multidisciplinary teams, with experience in project managing technical inputs.

 

This is a highly collaborative role, so your ability to develop and maintain strong working relationsips will be key, as will your ability to negotiate and influence when dealing with range stakeholders at all levels to obtain timely and accurate information.  You will have the flexibility to reprioritise tasks in order to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

 

  

Salary and Benefits

 

The salary for this position is Grade 9 ($138,670) – ($155,309) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading. This is a 3 years Fixed Term role.
