Our client, based in Vancouver is looking for a senior analyst, corporate Development

Under the Director, Corporate Development, the Senior Analyst participates in a variety of Corporate Development projects (including but not limited to merger & acquisition (M& A) processes and business development projects in North America), works in cross-functional business teams and business units, and supports the communication and analysis activities to Senior Management and the Executive Team.

The Senior Analyst will participate in various aspects of the Corporate Development projects, including financial modeling, due diligence and execution, market analysis, capital investment initiatives, and special projects.

This position will also perform various corporate valuation analyses, assist with developing Board and Committee presentations, and ad hoc tasks supporting other departments and business units.

 Responsibilities

â–ª Support the Corporate Development team through quantitative and competitive analysis and risk assessment for M& A and business development projects.

â–ª Develop, review, and maintain financial models and forecasts to support and advise on acquisition or project investment decisions as well as corporate valuation and planning.

â–ª M& A transaction execution, including business proposal development, financial analysis, and investment memorandums and presentations.

Requirements

Who You Are

▪ Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (i.e. Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, etc.), with CFA, CBV, or MBA

â–ª Have a minimum of 4-6 years of directly related experience.

â–ª You are known as a highly effective financial modeler with great time management skills.

â–ª Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

â–ª Resilient
