An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Analyst to join our Office Division within CBRE Investment Management
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Work with Head of EMEA Offices Operator Division on key business priorities to mitigate risk and to enhance portfolio wide performance.
•In coordination with the Head of EMEA Offices Operator Division and the Operations team, help optimize, leverage and operate systems and processes to improve investment performance across the platform.
•Develop a clear understanding of clients’ requirements and support them in the definition of bespoke strategies for their assets in line with the company’s recommended strategies.
•Act as a data steward in the sector to develop and launch a framework of “live†operational KPIs by linking business operational requirements to reporting tools working closely together with the Sector Leader, Operations, Analytics and D&T teams.
•Leveraging on the Analytics team, combine new and existing data to provide actionable business insights and effectively communicate through dashboards and presentations within and between sectors.
•Support and ensure the company’s sector specific strategies are properly communicated internally and externally.
•Supporting the Head of EMEA Offices Operator Division, to prepare sector specific reports (i.e., PPRs) and develop new reporting as required.
•Create strong commercial asset and market knowledge by developing appropriate tools to track comparable (leasing and transactions) to be shared with colleagues specifically the Research team: articulate market trends and contribute to formulate strategy and explain the portfolio’s performance.
•Be the go-to person for the Performance Analytics team in relation to sector performance data, benchmarking and analysis.
•In coordination with Head of EMEA Offices Operator Division, Head of Transactions and the Sector team, track best practices and areas of improvement to develop “lessons learned†knowledge sharing within and between sectors partnering with the Operations team to implement.
•Customer Satisfaction surveys: work with internal teams and third-party service providers to devise and implement a reliable process of engagement to obtain meaningful feedback, analyze results and trends, rate performance and work alongside offices team to develop improvement plans.
•In coordination with sector and asset management teams, create templates as required (fact sheets, case study, including budget leasing assumptions aligning with other sectors working with the Operations team.
•In coordination with the sector team, establish process to identify and monitor progress against objectives to mitigate climate risks during implementation of the ESG strategy.
•Lead ad-hoc projects as agreed with the Head of EMEA Offices Operator Division.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
•Strong academics, preferably with experience in a related field (real estate / economics / finance)
•Fluent in English, additional languages are a distinct advantage
•Ability and willingness to travel
•Attention to detail and organisation skills
•Strong financial analysis and modelling skills including valuation software (advanced excel, Argus)
•Ability to work in a cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment/team
•Ability to produce high quality work under pressure
•Excellent written & verbal communication skills
•Strong work ethic and ambition
