We are embarking on a multi-year end to end programme of work which will see us take advantage of advances in digital technologies and ways of working across our iron ore integrated operations that will reshape how we plan, schedule and operate our integrated value chain. The Optimisation team is an exciting and influential team whose purpose is to deliver full system potential through partnership, technology, process transformation and improvements.

We are looking for a Senior Advisor - Programme Delivery to support this program of work. Being a part of this team will provide you with the opportunity to realise visionary work, exposure to new and upcoming technologies, as well as helping shape the direction of Integrated Operations.

This is a high profile opportunity to work with a diverse group of stakeholders, provide advice to senior leadership, and guide our sites towards operational success. Reporting to the Programme Lead within our Integrated Operations division, you will be:

• Applying Agile/SAFE methodology and leading project support activities
• Manage resourcing and vendor management activities to understand programme requirements in the short and longer term
• Develop strategies and plans, including cross-functional team alignment, organisation transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training
• Demonstrate experience in PMO establishment, project delivery and management activities

What you’ll bring

• Strong understanding of project/business improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated experience using Agile or SAFE methods
• Exposure to LEAN or change management
• Previous experience establishing and leading PMO practices
• Background in vendor and scheduling management
• Knowledge of procurement activities
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
