About the Role
As a City Specialist, you will be working with our client's NZ team to perform in-store visits to their restaurant partners (Merchants) to get them ready and support the launch team in other key Merchant functional areas.
This role is best suited for candidates with strong client-service skills, excellent written and spoken communication skills, a strong bias for action and an all-rounder that is willing to problem-solve any issues. 
You must be a high energy, personable and motivated self-starter. We look for individuals who are reliable, looking to work hard, and can develop rapport with merchants to proactively identify and solve problems.

Start date: ASAP
Duration: March 14 to April 27
Pay rate: $25.19p/h
Hours: 4 days a week

  • Be a key contributor to the success of the launch operations
  • Truly represent our client's “Merchant-first” culture with in-store visits to restaurants partners (Merchants), checking in and ensuring Merchants are set up for success on Day 1
  • Work closely with cross-functional business partners/teams from Sales, Partner Operations and Enterprise team to provide in-market assistance and support
  • Be the guardrail to monitor live operations and act swiftly and diligent in helping Merchants and Dashers resolve operational issues, and preserve the mutual customer experience

  • 1+ years of client service, sales, or market research experience
  • NCEA or equivalent certificates; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • High energy/self-starter, customer-service oriented
  • Reliable and resilient, able to manage a frustrated merchant in person, over the phone or through email
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Proficient data-processing and analysis skills
  • Expert communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to engage in-person in designated neighbourhoods with all types of merchants
  • Able to travel within Wellington and work about four out of five days a week, visiting merchants
