Role Overview

We are looking for a hard working Security Team Leader that is ready for a new challenging role within our core team working for a prestigious car manufacturing plant in Oxford. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

This is a varied role and demanding role where you will need to be ready to respond to emergencies on site, responsibilities will include:

Providing first aid medical treatment

Cleaning up chemical spills and putting out fires (training will be provided)

Control room operations

CCTV monitoring

Testing fire and security alarm panels

Escalation of incidents

Accident report writing

Testing and maintenance of departmental equipment and vehicles

As a Security Team Leader, you will have the following responsibilities-

Ensure all staff are trained and able to carry out their duties in accordance with site procedures.

Manage a security team.

Carry out ad-hoc welfare and communicational visits to officers on post.

Maintain and follow fair and consistent disciplinary procedures, with appropriate action as necessary.

Ensure new starters have been issued with the correct items of uniform and equipment, introduced to their site and all induction training is completed.

The Ideal Candidate

Due to licensing requirements, you must be over 18 to apply for this position. You will be a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key. You will be contracted to work a minimum of 42 hours per week and must be flexible and available to work on a '4 on 4 off' shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. 

Please note, it is essential that you hold a valid Door Supervisor licence. It is also essential that you hold a full clean driving licence and your own transport.
