Role Overview

As a Security Recpetionist at G4S, you will be working as a key part of our team based at a prestigious car company headquarters based in Farnborough. You'll ensure all vistors and clients and welcomed in a profesional manner, ensuring the premises security whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. You’ll be the first person visitors meet on arrival so this role is key to creating a professional and friendly atmosphere, ensuring the reception area is presentable. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

It’s a varied role where no two days will be the same. You’ll be an integral part of the security operation, ensuring the correct protocols and procedures are adhered to, such as the issuing of visitors and employee passess, site access, routine patrols, control room duties, gatehouse duties and also dealing with any breaches or incidents as required. With a keen eye for detail and a brilliant way with people, you could look forward to an interesting role with exciting career opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key. You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days between Monday to Friday. Shifts hours will vary depending on site requirements. It would be a benefit to have from some security experience and your SIA licence, however it’s not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
