We are looking for Seasonal Wash Pad Operators to join our Depot Team on a fixed term contract to assist us during our busy season! This fixed term contract will take you through until 30 June 2022.

Things you should know about the job :

Our Wash Pad area contains 4 wash pads situated here at our Port Otago site in Port Chalmers. Our Wash Pad team looks after the container wash function in accordance with MAF Biosecurity regulations and our customer’s requirements.

The roles entails cleaning of containers to MAF and customer standards and completing audit sheets as required. Ability to use the Jade CMS features relevant to role is required.

This is a physical role where you need to be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions at any hour.

Hour’s of work :

You will be required to work 3 to 5 days a week (preferably 5 days) based on 8 hour shifts rostered over a 7 day period.

Our week starts Saturday 0700 and ends Friday 2300.

During our peak season regular second shift activity may be required therefore flexibility around working hours is essential as you could be asked to work day or afternoon shifts.

Shift patterns are : Shift 1 from 0700-1500 and shift 2 from 1500-2300.
