Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.

As a Search Revenue Analyst on the EMEA Search Finance team, you will contribute to the creation of analyses, tools, and insights to support the execution of our Search plan while working alongside other team members. You will help review and craft our EMEA Google Ads and strategy in partnership with EMEA Go-To-Market (GTM) and Finance peers across the globe. You will also present to team leaders of the Business and Product organizations to influence our business decisions.

The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

Create analyses, tools, and insights that enable us to better monitor and understand Search trends in EMEA across ads and dimensions.

Identify and assess the size of risks and opportunities for our EMEA Search business.

Communicate and package insights clearly to influence key decision makers in EMEA and globally.

Support and drive efficiency in core finance processes such as weekly reporting and analytics, quota setting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.
