This will include carrying out on-site, off-site, local and technical SEO activities.As part of the team you will deliver exceptional service to our clients whilst focusing on driving qualified, relevant organic traffic to their websites. You will be a key member of the SEO team and an advocate for SEO amongst Tradectory Media.One last thing, we want someone who isn't afraid to break the norms, try new things, test new ideas and own their space.ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll be doing:Client:To create effective SEO strategies that will aid organic acquisition and conversionsCarrying out audits and investigations to identify issues with client websitesPerform tasks to help optimise the websites for organic growth such as keyword research, creating page titles and meta descriptions and writing briefs for well optimised copyImplement local SEO strategies including citation building, Google My Business optimisation and local link-buildingCarry out technical SEO activities such as crawling websites, identifying pages to redirect and issues which may lead to poor indexation of the siteConduct outreach tasks such as link-building and identifying opportunities for clients to build their own linksAssist with website migrations to minimise the risk of organic traffic post launchCreate monthly reports to inform clients of the progress of their SEO strategyAgency:Be a champion for SEO within the wider agencyWork to be the “go-to†person for SEO questions by team membersAlongside other members of the marketing team, work to identify opportunities for increasing clients’ budgetsRecommend new tools and processes where applicablePersonal:Keep current with changes in SEO and the search engine algorithms. Read industry publications, stay abreast of search engine announcements and develop an interest in an SEO specialismDevelop your understanding of how different marketing disciplines affect SEO successWork on any areas of weakness in SEO to grow your skill setSkills and experience:3 years or more experience in an SEO role, ideally in an agencyExperience creating client strategies and implementing workExperience with client communication and attendance at client meetingsExperience working with tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, GTM and Majestic/Ahrefs/SEMRushExcellent attention to detailExcellent ability to manage own time and juggle prioritiesExcellent understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointBasic understanding of HTML a bonusPersonal specification:Passionate towards digital marketing and SEOKeen to learn and develop SEO skillsEnjoys teaching others and explaining SEOKeen to develop client relationship skills
