Job Description

We are looking for a highly reliable and committed part time school cleaner for a School based in Reading to join a busy team. This will be 16.00 - 20.00 - Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for ensuring that efficient and prompt cleaning of offices, classrooms, meeting rooms, dining areas, changing rooms and other areas of the school to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment. Key information:

• Monday to Friday -16.00-20.00
• All staff will have an Enhanced DBS child and adult workforce requirement

Key responsibilities include:

• Clean toilet areas.
• Mop sweeping.
• General dusting to include desks, furniture, chairs, and ledges.
• Ensure that equipment is used and stored in the appropriate manner
• Ensure that cleaning materials are used correctly to the manufactures recommendations and stored appropriately.
• Any other task that is appropriate in the cleaning of the establishment
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Good timekeeper and ability to organise task completion in a timely manner.

• Proficient use of basic types of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to be able to work quickly in an organised manner.
• Eye for details and a passion for cleanliness
• General cleaning methods and techniques Knowledge.
