Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Receive incoming calls, assisting members/permits with crew call and various needs and answering all incoming calls in a timely manner
- Maintaining a high level of service by greeting members and permits with professionalism, and friendliness.
- Operate various computerized communication consoles and associated equipment to receive, assess, and relay information from permits/members to Crewing.
- Adequate professional experience of working within scheduling and able to Ensure that all vacancies in the service schedule are filled in a timely manner
- Abilities to follow the seniority guidelines when crewing and understanding of job classifications of each department
- Liaise with production and department heads when inputting new production information and crewing requirements.
- Ability to utilize information to foster the acceptance of change or development.
- Review and understand the union's dispatch procedure for name hires, bumping, seniority, daily, weekly, and show calls.
- Respond to crewing calls, including book offs to ensure the booking on and off process is followed by the member and permit worker
- Ability to report, and fine a permit or members for late, no-show, and abandoning post
- Able to communicate effectively via email to the officers, membership, and accounting department on fines.
- Able to complete multiple reports regarding fines but not limited to as well as able to communicate issues to the supervisor.
- Ability to escalate emergency related calls, as required, to the on-call Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Completion of Post-secondary degree or certification program in related field
- 2+ years of verifiable scheduling experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, including TEAMS, along with ability to quickly learn website and phone databases
- Strong analytical skills needed to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Deadline-oriented, highly organized self-starter with self accountability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute with 95% accuracy
- Must be able to work non-standard business hours and/or overtime when required
