Job Description

We are looking for an outstanding Sales support person to join our client's team, providing administrative support to the sales team and after sales care to external customers.  

Providing the very latest in designer styles and innovation and specialising in  high end wood flooring and veneer panel products, this company is based in Levin with showrooms in Auckland and Wellington.

This full-time role is part of an energized, close-knit and essential group crucial in shaping and supporting the business' ongoing growth and success. You will have the opportunity to bring together your passion for beautiful products, problem-solving, exceptional customer service, and attention to detail all whilst interacting with a wide stakeholder base.

Skills we are looking for:

  • Experience answering customer calls in a busy trade environment 
  • Proven sales team support experience
  • Proven experience with MSOffice suite, CRM's, Pipedrive or similar
  • Good Word and keyboard skills, including drafting of proposals and quotes;
  • Developed analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • An eye for detail and accuracy in quantifying and costing;  
  • Superb relationship building and communication skills, both within team and with external customers.

What the role entails:

Customer Service & Sales Support:

  • Handling incoming customer enquiries by phone and email and managing the Tawk.to chat on the website: – stock, quotes, lead times, orders,
  • Managing customer relationships where there are delays or issues
  • Quotes for contractors and joiners for any of sales team projects around the country
  • Sales rep support – enter PipeDrive notes and actions for sales team as required
  • Manage Masterspec and Archipro enquiries and updates
  • Weekly/Monthly KPI reports to management and team as required
  • Updating product descriptions and pricing 
  • Entering new customers into PipeDrive and passing over to the account manager
  • Develop and improve customer service processes and benchmarks to achieve consistent 6-star service in the role and assisting the sales team in delivering that experience to their accounts
  • Telemarketing to reach new customers and assist with lead generation for the sales team

Aftersales Care:

  • Assist in incoming enquiries for product issues and care and maintenance enquiries and assist in them in getting a resolution
  • Assist in development of the aftersales care program
  • Drive sales for care & maintenance products
