What you will do

 

Due to the ongoing success of our service and maintenance team a fantastic opportunity has become available to join Johnson Controls as sales representative. You will be responsible for developing service business across the south of England for the portfolio of JCI portfolio of fire and security solutions. You will take ownership of the sales cycle proactively seeking out new customers with a focus on large regional public and private sector businesses in order to gain new business and increase in wallet-share. 

 How you will do it

To be successful as sales representative you will identify the best accounts to target for sales and growth as well as having the opportunity to build relationships through careful planning, business development activity and engagement with internal partners. You will create opportunities to bid on service contracts and present technical information to board level. You will manage leads and drive sales performance using Salesforce. 

What we look for

 

Required

  • Experience in a business to business sales representative function.
  • Ability to function independently.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with resilience and hunger to achieve targets and earn commission.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to engage operational departments to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Ability to develop and expand relationships through an organisation.
  • This is a field based role with company car so a full UK driving license is vital.

Preferred

 

We’d ideally love you to have experience/knowledge of developing service contract tenders for Hard FM, fire and security, HVAC, BMS or similar service offering along with ability to use Salesforce. Though our world-leading team can offer training and support in these areas.
