The Client:

Our client is a leading supplier within the wholesale Timber Market with extensive experience in the industry they have gained strong relationships with large retail merchants over the past decades and have an international backing.

They are a supplier of Lumber decking, Plywood and Sleepers to some of the largest Merchants in the industry. 

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced, road-based Sales Representative who can support a large warm client base. Ideally seeking areas of improvement or expansion where possible.
 
Your role will consist of supporting clients based all around Auckland, being based primarily on the road. You will look to seek out market trends and tribulations to report back to the operations team as well as maintaining and establishing client relations.  

You will ideally have knowledge of large retail timber Merchants in NZ or worked with them previously, enabling you to hit the ground running with this client portfolio.

Ideally, you will be knowledgeable Timber goods, the industry and have a proven background of committing to sales and targets from previous similar roles.

Supported by the internal team, you will be able to confidently sell to clients knowing orders and dispatches are filled rapidly with impressive care.

Skills Required:

• At least 2 – 4 years of experience within a wholesale / supplier timber sales
• A reliable, trustworthy nature
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
• Being an interpersonal and effective communicator both verbally and written
• Confidence to meet sales targets, build sales strategies and deliver growth
• Any knowledge on preparing sales board reports would be an advantage to your application
• A team player who is self-motivated
