The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Operational Effectiveness team optimizes the Europe, Middle East, and Africa sales operation by streamlining and maximizing sales efficiency and performance. As a Sales Performance Analyst, you will have the ability to deliver results through a cross-functional team and will also partner with other cross-functional teams to ensure our sales teams can efficiently implement and optimize advertising products.

Sales efficiency and performance management processes cover sellers in Europe, Middle East, and Africa's Large Customer Sales teams (LCS). In this role, you will be responsible for building the structure and mechanisms (e.g. reports, dashboards, trackers) that inform seller priorities and enable tracking of progress. You will also work with sales leadership to understand how to drive sales strategy through existing processes.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain strategic solutions (e.g., dashboards, reports, trackers) that set goals for sellers and track progress on Google and customer key performance indicators.
  • Manage insights to inform go-to-market sales and product strategy through gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses, and developing final recommendations.
  • Partner with go-to-market teams (e.g., Product, Sales) and sales leadership to launch and drive strategic initiatives.
