SME Sales Executive

 

The role holder will support ROI’s customer’s portfolio, responsible for maximising sales opportunities including ancillary products and generating orders through service, pro-actively identifying renewals and increasing profit in this area.  Build and maintain strong relationships with internal / external customers and suppliers whilst leveraging to ensure optimisation of sales and service working in tandem with BMW UK. Day to day processing of new orders, requotes and profit management.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Alphabet Customers Phone Line:  Provide professional and efficient phone service to ROI. International and BMW/MINI Group dealerships. Use product and process knowledge to progress requests, make recommendations and promote additional services. Achieve first call resolution at every opportunity.
  • System Abilities:  Employ a full knowledge of Fleetware, Alphabet Connect, Smart Sheet and ICON functions, all relevant internal processes to support ROI in progressing opportunities seamlessly from quotation to delivery. Communicate directly via telephone and then e-mail as required. Update reporting in line with marketing activities and Special Offers whilst creating sales urgency at quarterly launches and stock vehicles.
  • Relationship Building: - Ensure Alphabet are offering an effortless, personal experience supported by a relationship built on trust. Utilise points of contact within Alphabet in order to enhance the customers service offering and maximise our sales opportunities. Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with all internal departments and ROI, to ensure the continuation of business and lead swapping. Maintain effective communication with key departments.
  • The ability to be able to give advice on switch selling to secure an opportunity which sets us apart from our competition, delivers driver/customer satisfaction and a profit opportunity for Alphabet.
  • Step up: when and were required to cover holiday/sickness/training and reporting which may involve meetings and hosting internal visits.
  • Lead and Steer: Provide regular reviews on direct and international customers where appropriate, to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and loyalty to align Alphabet as their first supplier of choice.
  • Ancillary Sales:  Knowledge & understanding of our full suite of products to ensure that every opportunity is identified and converted where possible. Complete understanding of our financial products and how they operate and impact our customers and integrate in to Alphabet.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in the Automotive or Financial Services industry is desirable
  • Previous experience in Internal Sales and or Customer Service role is essential
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated, organised and confident in taking the lead where required
  • Sales through service attitude with proficient telephony skills
  • Able to self- manage and identify escalation points
  • Ability to interact with a variety of people/departments at different levels
  • Capable of positive negotiation
  • Ability to accurately handle and understand numerical data for quote to order process and reporting purposes
  • Desire to expand commercial awareness
