Job Description
The Role:
Your core function will include providing support across all aspects of account management, including achieving full year key account sales budgets and ensuring that key joint objectives are met. You will also assist with day to day management of Alternate Channel customers, aligning with your Manager on key strategies to grow sales in this channel.
- Build and leverage strong business relationships with key stakeholders through effective planning, communication, delivery of key performance indicators and resolution of service issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales plans to deliver the achievement of account sales budget
- Forecast management and review for customers
- Support with Category Reviews, Promo planning, Submission, Confirmation
- Maintain Fin Models (new products, BW data, Nielsen data updates)
- Drive in-store execution in Alternate Channel customers, aligning with the Field Sales Manager on in-field activity
- Assist Associate Manager to conduct monthly account reviews to capture highlights, gaps, risks and plans to deliver sales metrics
- Assist in the implementation and execution of pricing and promotional strategies
- Delivery of KPI’s, including market share, category and sales performance measures, Advantage Group metrics and Customer Business Plan metrics
- Co-ordinate and drive Alternate Channel key account meetings
- Review & drive opportunities for expansion into other alternate channel customers
About You:
- 2-3 years experience in a customer facing FMCG role such as National Account Executive, Customer Management, Category/Activations within the NZ market
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and sustain long-term professional relationships, influence others and communicate effectively
- Strong analytical skills, with a structured & logical thought process
- Strong commercial acumen and presentation skills
- Analysis/Problem Assessment/Solving
- Understanding of category management and ability to use insights to further category development and expansion
