We are a fast-growing timber joinery manufacturer based in Mt Roskill, Auckland.  
Our focus is on supplying timber joinery solutions primarily to the residential market.  

Estimator:
We currently have an opening for an Estimator position. This is a multi-faceted role that is primarily based around estimating joinery from architectural plans & client specifications but may also include client meetings to discuss design, occasional site visits and design work using CAD.  
We are looking for a self-driven person who thrives under pressure and also is able to work as part of a collaborative team within our busy environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating quotes and sales estimates
• Creating and submitting variations
• Communicating professionally and effectively with clients and suppliers as necessary
• Procurement of suppliers to assist with your quotes
• Submitting quotes for tendering purposes ensuring all work is thoroughly checked and 100% accurate prior to submission
• Handover jobs to project team for pre-production design work
• Proactively communicate with clients regularly and build strong relationships

Core Skills and Attributes:

• Timber Joiner experience considered advantageous but not essential
• Ability to read and understand architectural plans and specifications
• Read and comprehend handwritten site measurements & notes
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & digital
• Attention to detail with a consistently high level of accuracy
• Willingness to work across all project stages
• Knowledge of estimating software/CAD will be advantageous but not necessary as full training will be provided
• The ability to multi-task and adjust quickly to tight changing deadlines
• Good initiative and proactive attitude
• Strong IT and numerical skills
• New Zealand resident or valid NZ working Visa
