About the role:

This is a permanent part-time position, working 9:00am - 5:00pm Saturday's.

As a Sales Assistant you’ll join a passionate and knowledgeable Takanini team committed to making the world a happier place through the love of pets.

Our thorough training will prepare you to provide purr-fessional advice and information to customers, enabling them to take the best possible care of their pets.

Our environment is fast paced and there will be some heavy lifting of stock, but the reward of inspiring customers, meeting their pets needs and reaching sales targets is huge!

About you:

You’ll pride yourself on providing excellent customer service, be proactive and of course have a passion for pets!

To be successful you’ll also have:

• Experience in a customer facing role (retail experience preferred)
• A strong work ethic with commitment to on-going learning and development
• An ability to lift 20kg stock
• Flexibility to weekdays, weekends and public holidays
• A positive attitude and dedication to being a valuable team member
