About the Job:
This is a job that will require flexibility to travel around the South Island providing clinical leadership and support.
Based on a high trust model and empowering environment, you can grow and work with other clinical staff to achieve positive outcomes each and every day. This will require:
- Provide clinical oversight, leadership and direction
- Assist with operational management of the facility
- Actively participate in quality and risk management programme including supporting facilities to prepare for an audit
- Ensure provision of care to residents is of a high standard - at times you may need to pitch in and support and mentor on the floor
- Participate in the implementation of an effective education programme
About you:
- You will be a flexible and adaptable clinical nurse leader known for showing up and making a positive difference to culture, team, residents, families and clinical quality of care.
- The idea of travelling around the South Island regularly will really excite you
- You might be at the end of your career, with the flexibility to travel and a desire to share your immense wealth of knowledge and experience. Or you’re at the beginning - keen to be exposed to a wide variety of clinical and leadership opportunities and further develop your skills and experience.
- Regardless you will have substantial experience working in the aged residential care sector.
- You will be a strong communicator - able to develop trust and relationships easily with clients and family members and colleagues.
- You are clinically confident with excellent assessment and clinical decision-making abilities
- Experience in mentoring and coaching and developing a team
- You will be a Registered Nurse, with a current APC and a Full driver's licence
