Our Road Marking division is proud to be leading a range of projects maintaining and enhancing road markings on roads, bridges and pathways across the Waikato. We require a Road Marker – Type A & B, to help us deliver to these assignments. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our Road marking team, based out of our Te Rapa, Hamilton depot.

About the job:
You will be responsible for the operational delivery of road marking activities, resulting in completion of quality maintenance remarking and new works contracts. You will primarily be using A & B type marking machines. You will be responsible for the organising of your crew and will ensure that equipment and materials are in order.

About you:

You will a self-motivated, energetic and results-orientated individual. You will be the type of person who can work well under pressure, and someone who can recognise and prioritise the allocation of resources as required. You will also have:

• Roadmarking experience as a Type A & B operator
• Solid knowledge of MOTSAM and be able to mark out new works to the code
• Full Class 1 & 2 New Zealand Drivers licences
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to plan, listen and problem solve
• Excellent verbal and written language skills along with competent IT abilities

 Although not essential, we would also value:

• Formal NZQA Roadmarking Operational Certificate
• Level 1 STMS certificate
• Completion of Management and Leadership Courses
