We Are Hiring

We are hiring Registered Nurses to join our team on our Medical Oncology Unit at Ascension St. Joseph Hospital, located in Elgin, IL! If you are looking to work with both Oncology and Medical Surgical patients, this role is for you!

Full Time Night shifts available

Bonus available:

If 7-23 months of M/S experience: $5k for FT, $2500 for PT: If 2 years + of M/S experience: $10k for FT, $5k for PT;

New grad (6 months or less) = 2,500 and in residency program

What You Will Do

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Implement and monitor patient care plans.

Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
