    Join IT Cyber Security where we provide the Group with a secure operating environment, safe from malicious attacks or the abuse of privileged access and promote our secure use of IT.     About the role...

    Join us in this rare role Cyber Security Risk, Control and Audit team. You'll monitor and support with a wide variety of risk, audit, and control processes, interpret a range of data and handle the efficient production of quality compliance reports.

    We lead various assurance and risk areas across this important function including:

    • Internal and external audits, collaborating closely with Group Internal Audit and external auditors.
    • Taking care of Regulatory responses.
    • Control testing and liaising with the broader functions.
    • Handling the risk landscape.
    • Providing insightful information, mentorship, and advice to support the wider business.

    What you’ll be doing…

    • Provide technical support and assistance to the business using own judgement in risk analysis and management, calling out more complex queries as required.
    • Deliver analysis/reviews on individual assignments or well-defined tasks on larger projects to support the business.
    • Monitor / support a range of risk management processes and systems (RCSA and ServiceNow) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Support control testing, liaising with wider Risk functions and coordinating process improvements when issues or recommendations are identified.
    • Produce monthly compliance packs
    • Establish and build relationships with partners to identify business requirements and provides appropriate support and mentorship.
    • Finally, you'll have the autonomy to handle your own workload - delivering quality pieces of work to set timescales whilst setting objectives for others if needed.

    About you…

    • Excellent partner management skills. We'll need you to possess a strong communication toolkit to work with wider technical and non-technical people, senior internal customers, and external regulators.
    • You'll be a highly motivated, ambitious, problem-solving individual with experience.
    • Proactive approach – find opportunities, self-starter, takes ownership
    • Be agile, quick, and adaptable
    • Enthusiasm and willing to learn and share findings

    Essential

    • We'll expect you to understand the risk approach adopted by Financial Services companies to meet our regulatory environment. Previous validated risk, cyber security, audit, or SOx experience is essential
