An opportunity for an IT Specialist has become available within the ALDI National IT Stores team, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
As a Store Systems Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing real-time solutions and technical support for systems directly in use by our retail stores nationally. The successful candidate will have strong organisational, project management and effective communication skills along with a can-do attitude.

You will be responsible for:
Providing level 2 support using Service Now ticketing system for applications, systems and hardware used specifically by our retail stores nationally
Coordinating and actively partake in test and release management activities for applications
Performing root cause analysis and resolve application support issues
Receiving and coordinating application change requests using Service NOW ticketing system
Managing and leading on small to medium sized transformation projects affecting our retail stores nationally
Conducting diagnostics and installation of hardware as necessary to support our retail stores nationally
Providing ad hoc reporting support using SQL
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience in retail stock inventory systems (POS and SAP)
Previous experience in Microsoft SQL and/or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is highly regarded
Proven previous experience in end-to-end application lifecycle support and troubleshooting
Familiar with effective UAT practices
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Previous experience in Java and VBA is highly desirable
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to be flexible in order to provide after-hours service as required
