About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant to work at our Burnham Military Camp café site outside of Christchurch. Hours of work are Permanent Full Time, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00, however you need to be available over a 7 day period if you are required to work a weekend day instead of a day during the week (based on operational demand). Total flexibility is therefore required.

The great things you'll do:

In this position you will be responsible for basic food preparation and presentation, front of house, bar work, barista, cash handling and Eftpos, providing superb customer service, and assisting with general cleaning and café duties.

What we are looking for:

If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience working in a similar position and hold a food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168), or be happy to train for one.

You will need to have the ability to work independently and confidently but, most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
