We are looking for an outgoing Permanent Part Time Retail Assistant to amplify our team at our Massey University site in Albany. Hours of work are Mondays to Fridays either 08:30 to 14:30 or 11:00 - 19:15 with ocassional weekend work. Training will be provided for coffee making.
So, that's a little bit about us, now to 'what will you be doing with us?'
In this position you will be responsible for delivering an upbeat and professional customer service, providing a warm, friendly and welcoming ambiance for our customers. You will be responsible for basic food preparation and presentation, stock control, cash handling, making coffees and assisting in general kitchen duties. In addition, assisting and maintaining general cleaning and food hygiene duties.
What we are looking for:
If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will have at least 1 years' experience in the food industry and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to train for one. Along with your superior customer service skills, you will need to have the ability to work confidently both individually and with a team, but, most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality!
