An opportunity has arisen for a passionate individual to start immediately in our retail shop and warehouse for the position of Retail and Dispatch Assistant. Perhaps you are a parent with school age children or a tertiary student wanting to work whilst studying or a mature person looking for some part time work.

The Role

As the Retail and Dispatch Assistant, you will:

• Work in the retail shop sales including attending to customer visits and customer enquiries
• Ensure retail store is well stocked and clean
• Purchase in stock items for retail store
• Handle phone and email enquiries
• Ensure web site stock is showing correctly on the website
• Receive, process and dispatch online sales orders of honey products both domestically and internationally
• Assist with export orders, pick and package up our products, ensuring they won’t be damaged in transit, labelling, re-packing stock
• Book courier services via online systems and ensure orders are ready for pickup on time
• Process payments online or over the phone and reconcile payments
• Inventory management

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Previous customer service or sales support experience helpful but training will be provided
• Excellent data entry and computer skills – ideally you will have Microsoft Office, Shopify and/or DEAR experience
• You are highly organised and have systems in place to prioritise your workload
• Excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to communicate easily – by email, phone or in person
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Self-driven and trustworthy
• Excellent customer service skills and friendly
• You are adaptable and quick on your feet

• Flexibility – Saturdays (10am – 2pm) are a must but other hours will be discussed with the applicants
• Approximately: 20 – 25 hours per week
